Just to summarize, I asked for help, got it, didn't work, found solution, shared it. Why would I want to promote my software on a board full of pirates and crackers? So it isn't like I pretended to ask for help to just promote a piece of software. I said to people to not bother trying to get a cracked copy, because I already tried all the ones I could find and they all crashed immediately and in my mind, if I couldn't find it, most people wouldn't either. I initially tried to find a cracked copy, but none of them worked. Just yesterday I posted their newest course on the sister site, Tech Trance in Studio One 4, and plan on sharing anything that is missing on audiozĪfter I was getting negative responses for not sharing it publicly (by one user, who isn't even a month old on here), I posted the name of the software i used.
If Sonic Academy monitors these forums and see that there is a program that circumvents their protection, then they can get it too and patch their code to block it, which won't help me share courses with people. The reason I was PM'ing people is because of how difficult it was to find a solution. People started asking me how, but I didn't want to broadcast it publicly, so I sent PM to users who asked. I didn't even say how or what I did initially. I then responded here that thanks for your help, but I found the solution. Tube Digger allows you to download the 1920 x 1080, original source file, so the quality is perfect. The only thing that really worked was Replay Media Catcher (which I used a cracked copy of) which records a browser window, but the quality wasn't perfect, which won't help people who are trying to mix and master with the courses. The videos are protected by 128bit AES HLS encryption and hosted through, which specializes in protecting content. I got the program and it worked, I was able to download Sonic Academy videos with only a subscription.Īnd before I got a response on, I tried ffmpeg, youtube-dl, every browser extension that supposedly worked, various PC applications, decrypting m3u8, and recommendations from replies here and other forums. I was sent a PM by a user on to try a program called Tube Digger. I received some replies with things to try and none worked.
Asked how to do it because I honestly didn't know, so I asked if anyone did.
